How to solve Ktag Kess V2 NO 12V

Hallo zusammen und dankt allen für Ihre Antworten. Herr, ich sammle Arbeitslösungen oder KTAG oder Kess V2 NO 12V. Hoffe , es hilft jemand aus.
 
Teil 1: Kann nicht erhalten 12v oder Ausgabe von Kess V2
Ich benutze eine Wechselspannung an meine Kess V2 Adapter zu verbinden. Der Verkäufer Darstellung es. es sich 12v und 1A.
Wenn ich meine Kess verwende ich bin, die die nächsten Schritte folgen.
1) Verbinden des Adapters an Kess Einheit 
2) Verbinden des Netzteils mit dem Adapter 
3) Verbinden des USB - Kabels an Kess Einheit und der Computer und die Software TUn
Mein Kess lesen ECU durch OBD-Schnittstelle. Ich las einen Seat Leon 1.9 B.times.E perfekt. Es ist andere EDC16 ECU.
Die Ksuite zeigt es 12,16V-12,30V aller Zeiten hat während seiner lesen Versuch.
Getestet habe ich meine Stromversorgung und gibt 12 Volt

Teil 2: KTAG NO 12V

Haben Sie einen KTAG Clone seit ein paar Monaten. hat etwa 10 Ecu mit ihm, kein Problem! Seit heute habe ich habe keine 12 Volt auf roten Drähte. Normalerweise Wenn ich lese, klicken Sie 12v Erscheint auf rot und orange Drähte. Nur noch eine Orange. Wenn ich rot verbinden und Orange zusammen funktioniert alles wie normal.

Herr ist das Board mit fehlerhafter Komponente (n)

How to rework Ktag 6.070 for Tricore BOOT

Ktag should be able to program with Jtag, BDM and Boot protocols.
However, I have no luck with Ktag 6.070 for Tricore BOOT;
My way is to rework the board
Before rework:Everything working fine (BDM, Kline etc.) except Tricore boot
Connection OK, ID OK , begin reading ok , then jump when reading and finish with “error reading” (between 20% and 44%)
I try with SID807EVO , EDC17C54 and MED17.5.2, same error.
I use Kess V2.11 & Trasdata, same thing

The problem is crystal not murata

crystal murata does not need capacitors

ECU EDC17c54 in Bootmode OK and write OK, Crafter 120hp drive faster , everything is ok

Ps. When searching info on the web, i found some said their Ktag from http://www.obdexpress.co.uk/wholesale/ktag-ecu-k-tag-programming-tool-master-unlimited-token.html perfect for Jtag, BDM and all the Boot application (tricore and ST10). i’ll try next time.

How to unlock/read/write Simos PCR2.1 with Fgtech Ktag Kess

Rviews on  how to unlock, read and writeSimos PCR2.1 from VW Golf VI 1.6tdi.

i have past last week trying many thinks on pcr2.1 and bench flashing .
everything written below is tested and confirmed working by me on 4 ecus /cars ,only on chinese clone not reworked unit : fgtech v54 , ktag 6.070 , kess v2 4.0.36 , ksuite up to 2.15

pcr 2.1 need to be as you know unlocked before writing .

I prefer ksuite to work on this ecu (kess or ktag) , ksuite seem to be more stable than fgtech on pcr but work too : i get error with fgtech on one pcr2.1 , i don’t know why , and no problem with ksuite .
Same day i try another pcr with fgtech and no problem , the one fgtech don’t want to work with work flawlessly with ksuite and car run ok .

So if you have both tools , prefer ksuite seem to be more stable .

After you get you ecu unlocked in boot mode , with fgtech just remove boot and left pin connection , and read or write on bench .

On ksuite tools , you can’t read or write with ktag , only unlock . (alientech need to work on it…)
with kess it’s ok , BUT , you can’t use the tricore module !

The problem is that the harness is plugged in the tricore module . so you have to build your own bench cable : just get a obd female plug on a scrapyard , and wire +12 gnd and can h/l (kline is not used but you can wire it it will make a universal bench cable) .

The trick to get communication error free on both fgtech and kess cable is to use a strong external psu .

when the tool id or read or write the ecu , the ecu will perform a kind of reset , and the big cap inside the ecu will go charging , causing a drop in voltage if your psu isn’t strong enough to handle it . THAT WILL CAUSE THE COMM ERROR . That’s the only thing you have to take care .

when i made test with many little psu (like one you get with your tools) i have seen 7 volts drop some time , so the ecu is shutting down and no comm .

you can use computer atx psu modded to work on bench (green wire plugged on ground to power on ) i think anything that can provide +12v 2A will be ok . i didn’t need more than 12v just a stable 12V . 14v unstable will not be ok lol

that’s why on the car you have no problem , car battery can handle the cap charging current .

There is no immo caused comm error on this ecu , psu is the problem !!

so in conclusion : good psu and obd home made bench cable , remove tricore module on kess v2= 100% tested bench flashing solution for pcr2.1 .

Is Ktag 7.026 better than Ktag 7.020?

Is it worth buying a new tool just for this upgrade?

This 7.026 update is all ready available from EU. “Problem ” is resetting. NXP need replace when time to reset tokens, after 30 writing. That can do few times if have good skills and good tools for this.

when you turn 1 job down you will think l should off upgraded , alot more gpt connections on newer ecu,s

7.026 is the one with 3 NXP mcu’s . everyone with 30 writings. i use it allow. all working ok and i think by the time i will use all 90 writings a new tool will come.

if you need Denso Nec NBD family the only tool doing this 100% is my 7.026. 7.020 will NOT MAKE DENSO NEC NBD even 15%. there may be 1 or 2 of the ecus it can do but that’s it. and no one aside from us can offer you 7.026 as its socketed solution. anyone who tells you 7.020 can make denso nec nbd 100% is just gonna take your money

I have ktag 7.026. Tool is OK.
Although it requires a good coffee machine… my reworked ktag 6.070 is MUCH faster

some EU seller claims that he has version without tokens limit.

Ktag 7.026 Russian clone has fixed firmware with token count stopped.
I use kess and ktag. No any headache. No heating to unlock, no nxp changing.

For kess v2, As i know, for 5+ firmware, protocol files crypted individually for each original.
You can’t update different devices with same files.
Since Kess V2 4.036 a lot of protection added.
For ktag, i think, the same.
Take care before spend 2000+

In summary, there are good and bad reviews of ktag 7.026. Hint for you, do not rush into new versions. Time will tell you good or not. Before this, go for Ktag firmware 7.020.

Orange 5 Original vs Clone:
Do not get confused by Orange pricing. Orange charge separately for the device, the immo software, the airbag software and the radio software, plus a few specials.
All this comes with the clone.
To compare the two, you must add up all the costs from Orange. There is a very large saving if you buy the clone. But you cannot update it and you have no support from Scorpio. It will suit some people for sure. The adapters are poor quality, and for many the hardware does not work. No doubt as time goes by will will see huge threads about how to fix them. The company who makes it does not have a good reputation for quality or support.

I do not regret buying original Orange5 and Tango key programmer. But when I did there were no clones available as an alternative.

As for the Tango clone, it’s PCB and components are nothing like the original, and of a very poor quality. I have not seen inside an Orange5 clone yet.

I buy Orange5 china clone. Work great. Now i check in hc05b8, hc11e9, end eproms. All read and write very fast.
I have never had any problems with clone, everything works as it should, knock on wood.
I don’t know is there any scripts but softwares for immo,radio and dash coming together with clone.

I have 4 secured mcu, and they work ok.
I have tried 68hc11, allot of eproms, and it work’s just perfect.
I don’t have right now anithing else.

OEM clone seem work good after report from some users. Just need rework solder points on Moto adapter.
I am not aware of a clone Orange 5 yet. But if it says not updatable then it must be a clone. Original ones are sold by Chinese sellers as well. Prices can vary depending on the bundled software.

i have this Orange5 clone and work everytime with him. not work car radio option.i think isn’t bad clone and not expansive.

I have just bought orange 5 programmer and all seems to work well happy
I got fed up with my genuine upa usbs programmer which didn’t seem to want to read anything, it went through the motions and said success reading a load of zeros gavel
Straight out of the box this Orange 5 clone read and write eproms 95640 and 95P08C3 in circuit no problem with no errors, but I had to make sure that my connections to the chip via test clip were all good and then tool work like charm nerd
I think I like it so far.

I have it for a long time and for now everything is working properly.
One of the few clones that works well and works as an original.
So far its reading and writing (with verify) all eeproms i try. Good tool so far.
Some adapters are not supplied and must be purchased separately Adapters should be resolder for sure but it isn’t so bad ,at all
The main point orange 5 clone isn’t so bad as clones can be.
Good investment for sure .

I like PIN checking function (test insertions) very much .It saved my job a lot of time.
In combination with my UPA -S,CarProg,and mini pro TL866 a lot of job can be done successfully .
Great programmer. All that is stated works. If the speed of exchange is not important, you can do a lot. Many good calculators.

So, the nice case is the same as the ori to have things but it doesn’t matter if the pcb is well done. Don’t think you have to rework something.
