(Solved) FGTech Windows 10 Error: Driver is not digitally signed

Here are FGTech Galletto Windows 10 installation tips and guides, including how to solve FGTech error “driver is not digitally signed”

It’s possible that the PC cannot recognize the device, after you have installed Setup.exe in Windows 8 and made it connected by the USB cable.

The reason can be: the driver is not installed

If you try to install the driver manually through the peripheral management it will display the following error message: This driver is not digitally signed

It’s possible to solve the program in Windows 7 operation system

Even if it does not accept the driver manually, you can disable the control if the driver signing

Here you go...

Reboot the PC in an advanced mode

On Desktop, open the Charm Bar to the right can click on Change PC Settings

Now. Click on General - Restart now

PC will restart in an advanced mode

On windows 10, it will appear the following interface

Click on Troubleshoot - Advanced options - Startup Settings - Restart

PC restarts, then go to Startup settings

Disable driver signature enforcement

PC will restart

Then you can install the FGTech driver

Galletto V54 Windows 10 64 bit Review:

i have probation galletto on windows 10 64 bits and work s good.

soft is from fantomel post "rework and up loads v54 to v53 0475 fw."

mostly problems with software no open is pc or laptop

trying on sony vaio netbook no work

plug galletto usb install driver from software C/Program files/Fgth/drivers.

FGtech Galletto 4 clone: SE61-G SE61-GB, which best?

From what I can see, there are currently 3 different Chinese PCB versions of Galletto v54 !

– There is one, where there are 2 leds on the top of the galletto and there are two, where the leds are on both sides, where the connectors are located (power/bdm/obd)

OBDEXPRESS.CO.UK, sells two different versions of Galletto v54, from different manufacturers:
(note: on the site, the pictures for both items are the same, but the galletto version differs in the leds and package, please check below for correct details)

– Item No. SE61-G is the other version they sell, it comes in a brown box, has a power adapter for bench work, and has a green led, next to the power connector, and a red and yellow leds on the other side. This version is a little more expensive… Just a couple of euros… Maybe it’s because it has the power adapter also…

This is the version I have, and I have successfully tested it in several cars:

Audi A4 2.0 tdi 2008edc17cp14: dpf delete, eco/power map

have the one with red LED next to power jack. I gave tested on k line works fine, CAN works fine, tricore works fine. Not tested on bdm yet

Tricore 2010 audi a6: read OK

2005 Skoda octavia vrs: K line OK

GP read 1_3 MJT 75 hp: Twenty-six seconds to read. File 2 MB

BMW X6 3.0D 2008 EDC16: OBD read and write WORK

Citroen C3 Bosch EDC 16C34: Read and write all good

5 minutes total to write.

BMW 525 (E39): Read and write OK. Everything Good

BMW edc16c35: failed

then i have to recovery through bdm.

That is why you need buy more than one ecu programmers.

When to buy Galletto 4 and kess v2 together?

Galletto 4 work with truck, including Benz truck, read and write ECU via both BDM and OBD; KESS not works with truck, read and write ECU via only OBD, not BDM.

When to buy Kess v2 and Ktag together?

KESS V2 is a ECU programming tool that is perfect for OBD use, while KTag is perfect for Jtag, BDM and all the Boot application (tricore and ST10).

With KESS V2 you programming directly through the OBD port of the vehicle, while with Ktag (Ktag 2.13) you need to take apart the ECU and open it, after you can make the read/write operation.

Many ECU has the advantage that can be read and write from OBD port (so KESS V2 is perfect), but there are lot ECU that need to disassemble from the car and open and this is the case for all the ECU that need to be programmed with Jtag, BDM and Boot protocols, so KTAG is needed.

When to buy Fgtech 4, Kess v2 and Ktag all together?
Because non of China tool will cover all cars good and if you buy clone tools, buy all (galletto+kess+ktag) from them, that you will cover more cars, or better to buy a good original tool if you will do the work as a pro, all depends want you will do.

How to use FGTech Galletto 4 Master to read Audi TT EDC17C46 in Boot Mode.

Using V54 FGTech Galletto 4 to read Audi TT EDC17C46 in Boot Mode step by step here.

Ecu Type

Step1. Open the ECU unit. Connect ECU with FGTech Galletto 4 following the wiring diagrams below:

Step2. Connect Galletto 4 V54 with computer via USB cable, then open Galletto software

Click “Select Driver”

Select maker, cars, driver and click OK

Click “connect”, Galletto will remind you turn the dashboard off, click OK -> then turn the dashboard on, just click OK.

Then you will see the ECU DATA.

Step3. Click “Read All” and enter the file name “audi tt 2011 edc17”, click “Save”.

The software will remind you “Remove and give power to ECU before reading!”, click OK

Wait for a few minutes...V54 FGTech Galletto 4 Master begins to read Audi TT EDC17

ECU reading 100% complete, turn dashboard off!
