KTag SSM Cable Pinout for PCR2.1 Read/Write

Have anybody test SSM cable cable with the ktag clone for PCR2.1?
Yep. Work good with KTAG original and HQ clone. SSM tested more times, works perfectly. Read and write in BSL on table without unlock after read password with SSM cable.

PCR2.1 full flash VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Note that you need ktag HQ clone or original, open ecu and prepare Eeprom for cloning ECU.

If you fail, have a try with Fgtech 4 (clone should be okay)

On a side note, ksuite tools (kess or ktag) seem to
be more stable than fgtech on pcr but work too

On ksuite tools , you can’t read or write with ktag , only unlock . (alientech need to work on it…)
with kess it’s ok , BUT , you can’t use the tricore module !
The trick to get communication error free on both fgtech and kess cable is to use a strong external psu .
good psu and obd home made bench cable , remove tricore module on kess v2 = 100% tested bench flashing solution for pcr2.1 .

How to reflash Kess V2 firmware 5.017

Anyone know how to Update Kess v2 4.036 to 5.017? i found some tips here http://blog.obdexpress.co.uk/2018/01/26/how-to-update-kess-v2-4-036-to-5-017/

only way would be to replace nxp or unlock nxp (if possible) and reflash with 5.017 firmware if you have it
and new sdcard with 5.017 image on it 

And here is what i did..

I rebuilt and generated a SD card image for the RED Kess V2 5.017.
This image can fit in small SD cards.

This image is generated specially for the RED Kess CID number.
So you must write it in the original SD card with good CID number.
(Some Green Kess have same CID)

It’s preferable to replace the contents of the entire SD card with 0s before writing the image.
(ImageUSB includes functionality to Zero a USB Flash Drive).

WARNING: it’s just a test, but work for some.
Make a backup of your SD card before, even if it is corrupted. Sometimes it can help.
I can generate for other CID.
Try and report.
