ECU PROGRAMMER: Is it necessary to upgrade ktag 7.020 to 8.000?

I’m thinking of buying a newer Ktag clone, I will do mostly edc17 agriculture stuff. But I’m not sure what clone to choose, 7.020 or 8.000 and from what store would you recommend?

I’m using a ktag clone 7020 with 2.23, I highly recommend you get a decent power supply, I have a 12V 3A and a 24V 5A.
From what I’ve read 8.000 version comes with virtual read (with subscription) obviously newer vehicles etc but you have to pay subscription every year
Also a rework is recommended i didn’t rework mine yet cause I didn’t have issues yet.

You’d advised to use Ktag 7.020 with security and relief.
